Todd Cahill
Steamachine Sculpture
I believe that obsolete technology retires as art. That steam power and the industrial mechanisms of the past can find new roles in expression. Todd Cahill will perform with his menagerie of obsolete techmnological apperatus throughout the day.
Todd has been perfecting his skills for over 30 years. His studio is located within an historic industrial revolution mill and the machinery he uses dates back 150 years. In his sculpture, Todd explores uses steam technology to portray whimsy while his drawings portray the epic nature of the age. Both drawing and sculpture are diminutively detailed. Todd performs with his work at fram machinery shows as well as museums and urban art shows.
